Welcome to Tain and District Love My District 2020 - Photography Competition

The aim of the Love My District 2020 is to celebrate local places, buildings and people by encouraging residents of the Ward 7 communities to come together through photography and celebrate the distinct beauty and features of our district.

It is hoped that the Love My District Photography Competition will encourage people to investigate the District in which they live, and record stories or tales associated with the photographs through investigation and inspirational communication. Entrants are encouraged to include a short paragraph about the image and why it appeals to them.

The competition will run from October 2020 to January 2021 with judging taking place by a panel of local photographers. Depending on numbers entering it could involve a roadshow to all Districts of the Ward where the public will vote on their favourite in each category.
